Join artist Chloe Wigg for a hands-on workshop ahead of her upcoming exhibition Oh MG. This exhibition explores the artist's experience of living with Myasthenia Gravis (MG), a disease that causes rapid muscle fatigue, through multilayered portraits, upcycled medication bottle snowflake sculptures, and crocheted snowflakes donated by the community.
In this workshop, the Southern Downs community is invited to contribute to the installation, which will be displayed at Warwick Art Gallery during the Jumpers and Jazz in July festival. Whether you're an experience crafter or a beginner, basic knitting or crochet skills are all that's needed. Materials will be provided and you will have the chance to add your own creation to a collective artwork celebrating the power of community and connection.
Friday 4 April, 10am - 1pm
$20 (Gallery members), $25 (non-members)
