Warwick Art Gallery has opened registrations for the 2019 yarn bombed tree jumper exhibition. With wide spread interest since early January the Gallery team has been working hard to make sure everything is up to date and ready to go for those eager to start working on their entries.
This exquisite and accomplished collection of works explores the anatomy of the horse in interesting compositions and technical acquisition in a way that will appeal to those in and beyond the equine world.
Commencing on Thursday the 12th of January is Plein Air Park: Recreational Enjoyment of Light in our Orange Wall Gallery. Artist Julie Purcell created this body of work in a park in Maryvale (on the Southern Downs). Julie will present a talk about her work and her experience, riding to the park everyday on her bicycle, to complete these works.
Warwick Art Gallery proudly present an exhibition of paintings and screen prints by Brisbane based artist Clinton Barker with local printmaking group The Cattle Dog Printmakers. Pastel artist Nikki Wood will feature in the Orange Wall Gallery.
